The 1910 Caballito Peso is one of Mexico’s most iconic silver coins, struck to celebrate the centennial of independence. Designed by Charles Pillet, the obverse features Liberty on horseback (hence the nickname Caballito, or “little horse”) holding a torch and laurel branch, with the radiant sun rising in the background.
